Budweiser Budvar Non-Alcoholic Beer had only been exported to Slovakia for years, before a turnabout took place last year, when a Dutch importer became interested. The increased demand has continued this year as well. “During the first half of 2011, our export went up by 32.6%, having reached a volume of 2,522 hectolitres. Slovakia remains the largest market for our non-alcoholic beer; the sales in the first half a year rose by 13% there,” says Budweiser Budvar export department’s manager Renata Pánková. Supplies to Turkey, Spain, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Australia, Greece and Austria have started this year. We are also working on other business projects, owing to which the export of this product is going to expand to other countries as well. The increase in interest of the customers was undoubtedly supported by a silver medal in the world quality competition Monde Selection.
