Budweiser Budvar Brewery has prepared unique glasses with portraits of České Budějovice ice-hockey legends

Budweiser Budvar began selling “ice-hockey” beer packs, which are going to be especially appreciated by the fans of ČEZ Motor České Budějovice as well as collectors of beer glassware. The limited carton edition contains nine half-litre bottles of the pale lager Budweiser Budvar B: ORIGINAL and also a unique glass as a gift portraying one of three famous České Budějovice ice- hockey players (Roman Turek, Jaroslav Vladimír Caldr or Jaroslav Modrý) and their respective signatures. The ice-hockey carton packs are going to appear in selected shops exclusively in the Region of South Bohemia this week.

On the occasion of the new ice- hockey season opening, Budweiser Budvar has prepared a limited edition of the pale lager Budweiser Budvar B: ORIGINAL. Each carton pack of nine bottles also contains a 0.3-litre glass as a gift portraying one of three famous local ice-hockey players including their signatures. Following an agreement with the club, Roman Turek, Vladimír Caldr and Jaroslav Modrý were the three players eventually chosen for the glasses out of many České Budějovice ice-hockey legends. The glasses are randomly selected into the cartons.

“The original glasses are going to be particularly appreciated by the fans of ČEZ Motor České Budějovice as well as collectors of beer glassware. Only several thousand pieces of each type will be available,” says Budweiser Budvar’s Innovation Manager Marek Honetschläger.

The ice-hockey carton packs will be sold this week in selected shops exclusively in the Region of South Bohemia at (Globus, Makro, Norma, Terno and Trefa).
